WBS ANNUAL BURN CAMP

group02.gif (166764 bytes)In past years we held special camps for burn survivors and their caregivers designed as part of our support services.  Normally we try to hold these in different locations around the region and these have been very successful.  (Click the thumbnail to see a larger picture of the 2002 Camp Group Photo at Rotorua Thermal.  Warning!  This is quite a large file and will take a moment or two to download.)

Other venues have been: Rotorua Thermal and Rotokauri Christian Camp.

Previous camps: Lakewood Lodge, 585 Glen Murray Road, Huntly on March 7th - 9th some years ago now.  You can visit them online at:Lakewood Lodge www.lakewoodlodge.co.nz (or click the little pic on the right) and spend time there yourself and enjoy horse trekking, kayaking and the whole adventure camp bit in beautiful country just half way between Auckland and Hamilton about 5 minutes from Rangiriri.   The food and accommodation is great and we're sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did.

âPhotos for camp 2003 at Lakewood Lodge: These are now available courtesy of Dianne Beanland.  Thank you Dianne for a very nice collection of photos.

You can view photos here from Camp 2002.
bullet Note: There are two lots of photos from Burn Camp 2002 so be sure to check the second lot - the link is at the bottom of the Camp 2002 page.
